The Adagio RMI agent that is deployed to each desktop or server is extremely secure by initiating all communications back to the server. Since the agent will not accept any inbound connections, it is impossible for a third party application to attack the agent from the network.

The agent doesn't require any open ports on any of the client machines thereby eliminating inbound port probes or new network attacks.

All communications between the Adagio RMI agent and the server are encrypted with a 256-bit RC4 key that rolls every time the agent communicates with the server. There are no plain text packets passing over the network to exploit.
